09.30.2018 – New Testament: Eph 2.1–3
To read the Bible in a year, read Ephesians 2 on September 30, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
Starting at Ephesians 1.3, Paul began to list the many blessings that we have in the Spirit in the heavenly places in Christ. We might be tempted to think that he quit talking about those blessings at verse 14, but he did not. He continued. For example, read what he said here:
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others (Ephesians 2.1–3).
I was dead in sin, walking after the devil, living as a son of disobedience, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, but, praise God, He made me alive!
Questions:
