Do you need a sign?

Many people will not believe there is a God unless He does a sign for them. Why can’t they examine His word, just like you and I would with one another, and see if it is credible. If He has to do miraculous signs for everyone, they would lose their uniqueness. Therefore, consider what Scripture has recorded for us. Jesus said:

“An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah” (Matthew 12.39).

Watch what you think, and see what it is that you expect from God, and examine the biblical miracles, in particular the one that Jesus mentioned here, which was an allusion to His resurrection.
