01.31.2019 – New Testament: Matt 21.22

To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 21.1–22 on January 31, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019

Often the psalmists praised God for answering their prayers in that prayer in which they made a request to God! They knew that He wanted them to pray and that if they prayed according to His will, it was already a fact that they would have that for which they had asked. This is how Jesus teaches us to pray also:

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” (Matthew 21.22).

You can thank God for answering your prayer that is according to His will even before it is fulfilled, because He promises that if we believe, then we will receive that for which we make request.

Questions:

  • Do you remember to thank God for answering your prayers?
  • How much time in your prayers do you reserve for thanking and praising God?
