Who is Jesus of Nazareth? He is the Son of God and the Bible shows that He created the heavens and the earth, and everything that is in them. Therefore, for Him to make the following declaration is amazing:

“For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

–Luke 7.28

Think of all the prophets you know from the Scriptures, and then see John the Baptist towering over all of them!
