04.10.2019 – New Testament: Luke 12.37
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 12.35–59 on April 10, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019
By Don Ruhl
Jesus spoke a parable of a man who went away to a wedding, and his servants should have been preparing and waiting for his return. He said:
“Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.”
– Luke 12.37
Did you hear what the Lord said? He used this parable to illustrate Himself and us. We serve Him, and if we serve Him as we should, always anticipating His return, He will serve us! Think on that the rest of the day and see how it affects you!
Questions:
- Are you serving the Lord daily?
- Do you know how to serve Him?
