New Testament: John 3.22–24
To read the Bible in a year, read John 3.22–36 on May 11, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019

Do not let anyone ever tell you that baptism is not important or that it is not necessary for salvation. Just consider the following:
After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He remained with them and baptized. Now John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there. And they came and were baptized. For John had not yet been thrown into prison.
– John 3.22–24
Did you read that carefully? Both Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and John, the forerunner of the Christ, baptized. Oh, but someone says baptism is not necessary. You have to be kidding! Did Jesus or John ever do anything that was not important?
If you have never been baptized for the forgiveness of your sins, you need to do it right away!
- What do you think of baptism?
- Have you been baptized for the remission of your sins?
