New Testament: John 14.20
To read the Bible in a year, read John 14 on June 4, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019
By Don Ruhl
On His last night before His death, Jesus said many amazing things to His disciples, including these words:
“At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”
– John 14.20
Think on the profundity of those words. After Jesus would leave earth, He told His disciples that they would live because He lives, referring to His resurrection. Of course, the same applies to His disciples today. We live because He lives, and by that we know that He is in the Father, we are in Jesus, and He is in us.
Think on that for the rest of the day.
Questions:
- If you are a disciple of Christ, are you aware of the fact that daily you are in Him and He is in you?
- If so, what does that do to you or for you?
