07.13.2019 – New Testament: Acts 17.26–28
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 17.16–34 on July 13, In the year of our Lord 2019
By Don Ruhl
Paul taught the Greeks and others at Athens that they could find one true and living God, if they would just consider how life is and how we are able to live:
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring’” (Acts 17.26–28).
All the nations have descended from Adam and Eve, and all those nations will arise, occupy land, and then fall according to the timing of the Lord. Seeing that even mighty empires do not last forever, should make us seek the Lord, the One who brings up those empires, because He is not hard to find, since we all have our existence within Him.
- Have you found the Lord?
- What about life tells you that there is a God?
