New Testament: 1Co 15.47–49
To read the Bible in a year, read First Corinthians 15.33–58 on September 7, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019
By Don Ruhl
When the resurrection of the dead happens, everyone of us shall be changed. At the present time, we resemble Adam in body, but when Jesus returns, our bodies shall resemble His body:
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
– 1 Corinthians 15.47–49
He shall change our bodies into glorious bodies so that they will no longer resemble the old bodies that we had on earth. We do not know when that day shall be, but with each passing day, we are another day closer. Live in anticipation of that day.
Questions:
- Do you know how to live in anticipation of the return of Christ?
- Do you want to know what our new bodies shall look like?
