Old Testament: Eze 41.12
To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 41–42 on November 29, In the year of our Lord 2019

Remember that Ezekiel 40–48 pictures a temple that the Lord showed the prophet. The Lord showed him many details, including this,
The building that faced the separating courtyard at its western end was seventy cubits wide; the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length ninety cubits.
– Ezekiel 41.12
We may ask critically, Why is that in the Bible? Yet, it is in the Bible because the Holy Spirit wanted it there. It is not for me to critique the Holy Spirit, but to seek to understand why we need to see this and what the Lord wants us to do with the information.
The Lord has something prepared, and from what I see in nature, He designs things perfectly with nothing wasted. That would be true for this temple.
- What do you think of Ezekiel’s temple and its meaning?
- Do you see anything superfluous that the Lord has made?
