The last three of seven trumpets were “woes.” After the sounding of the fifth trumpet, hence after the first woe, John issued this warning:

One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.

– Revelation 9.12

The Lord deals with the earth in the most serious ways. He does not view His dealings with the earth as a game. When He brings a woe upon the earth, it is not just something a little unpleasant, it is something that we do not want to experience. Therefore, be sure to live in God’s grace and Spirit at all times.
