Are you a wise person? If you do not believe that you are, Jesus revealed how you can become wise:

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”

– Matthew 7.24–25

If you listen to Jesus and do what He says, you are like a wise man who built his house on the rock, which is the wise thing to do! You will then be like that house, so that when the storms of life beat against you, you will still stand. Now that is the wise way to live.

• Do you see the Lord as the treasure house of wisdom?
• Are you diligent about doing His word?
