New Testament: John 16.14–15
To read the Bible in a year, read John 16.1–15 on June 6, In the year of our Lord 2020
By Don Ruhl
The Father and the Son are one. Therefore, what the Son has the Father has and what the Father has the Son has. As Jesus said:
“He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”
– John 16.14–15
Therefore, we cannot have God the Father without the Son. Many people want God, but they do not want anything to do with Jesus. However, that will not work because we cannot separate the two, and if we want to separate them, then it shows that we do not understand the one that we think we want.
- Do you accept the Son as much as you accept God the Father?
- Are you prepared to meet both?
