New Testament: Acts 13.40–41
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 13.24–52 on July 6, In the year of our Lord 2020
By Don Ruhl
As Paul concluded his message to a synagogue, he gave a warning from the prophets and it is one that everyone needs to hear:
“Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:
‘Behold, you despisers,
Marvel and perish!
For I work a work in your days,
A work which you will by no means believe,
Though one were to declare it to you.’”– Acts 13.40–41
Do not despise the word of God, for if you do, you will not believe and if you do not believe, you will lose your soul.
Questions:
- Do you despise something that is written in the Scriptures?
- What is your attitude toward the Bible?
