New Testament: 2Co 9.15
To read the Bible in a year, read Second Corinthians 9 on September 17, In the year of our Lord Christ 2020
By Don Ruhl
God wants us to love one another and to supply one another with what is needed. Paul wrote about those things in Second Corinthians 8 and 9. He gave the Corinthian brethren several reasons why they should help their brethren in another place. As he neared the end of his comments, he brought up the grace of God. Then he said:
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
– 2 Corinthians 9.15
Truly, what can I say about the grace of God? The Bible speaks of it, and we can use the Bible to explain it and why God showed it, but we still ask, Why did he show us grace in the sacrificial gift of his Son?
Questions:
- How does the grace of God affect you?
- How do you describe it to others?
