New Testament: Gal 3.16
To read the Bible in a year, read Galatians 3 on September 25, In the year of our Lord 2020

You know John 3.16, but what about Galatians 3.16? Long ago, the Lord had promised Abraham, “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice” (Genesis 22.18). Now read what Galatians 3.16 says about that promise:
Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.
– Galatians 3.16
The Lord promised Abraham that through his seed, who is Christ, the Lord would bless all the nations of the earth, which is kind of like saying, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3.16).
Questions:
- Do you see how far back the Lord planned for your salvation?
- Do you appreciate that salvation and all that the Lord did to bring it to you?
