To read the Bible in a year, read First John 1 on December 2, In the year of our Lord 2020

Why do we have the information in the Bible that we have? God wants us to know that He has some good things in store for us, including this,
…the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
– 1 John 1.2–3
Jesus is the life of which John wrote. John and his fellow apostles knew Jesus, and what they saw and heard in Him, they declared to the world. Why? Here John said that we may have fellowship with him, and ultimately with the Father and the Son.
- Have you thought on the wonders of having fellowship with the Father and the Son?
- What do you think of your fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ?
