Old Testament: Mic 2.12–13
To read the Bible in a year, read Micah 1–3 on December 19, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019
By Don Ruhl
The Lord through Micah did not hesitate to tell Israel of their problems, but He also showed them great hope, such as when He said:
“I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob,
I will surely gather the remnant of Israel;
I will put them together like sheep of the fold,
Like a flock in the midst of their pasture;
They shall make a loud noise because of so many people.
The one who breaks open will come up before them;
They will break out,
Pass through the gate,
And go out by it;
Their king will pass before them,
With the LORD at their head.”
– Micah 2.12–13
That would happen when the Lord would bring in the Gentiles, the rest of the nations of the world, as it has happened through Christ who is the King at our head.
