Jesus spoke a parable (Matthew 22.1), and said: 

“The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son…”

– Matthew 22.2 

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a marriage? Wonderful! However, not everyone likes the idea, for Jesus went on to say that the king: 

“…sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.”

– Matthew 22.3 

It is not a good idea to reject the open invitation of this king. He who does not want a part in the marriage of Jesus to His church, will have no part in the Kingdom of Heaven. Accept Jesus and accept His church.

• Do you seek to please Christ the King in all that you do?
