Jesus helped two men to understand the Scriptures, but they did not know that it was Him. However, He had blessed them so greatly that they wanted to spend more time with Him: 

Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them.

– Luke 24.28–29 

He had blessed them, so they wanted to bless Him. And He accepted the blessing, going with them to the place where they were staying. 

It is also amazing that the Creator would humble Himself and stay in a humble home with some of His creation. (Even if it was a mansion, it was humble compared to the heavenly home of the Son of God.)
