Old Testament: Psa 15.2–5
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 13–16 on July 14, In the year of our Lord Christ 2021
By Don Ruhl
David had asked who might abide in the Lord’s tabernacle. To me, that is like asking who is going to heaven. The answer included several things, which is the rest of the psalm:
He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the LORD;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.
– Psalm 15.2–5
Just do the right thing, and you shall please the Lord and he will be happy to have you dwell with him.
- Are you living those things that Psalm 15 listed?
- Do you believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of the Living God?
