Old Testament: Psa 94.12–15
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 93–95 on August 12, In the year of our Lord Christ 20201

Most people in the world resist the Lord’s teaching because they want to live according to their own desires, but they need to think of what a blessing it is to have Him to teach them because He is their Creator! The psalmist said:
Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O LORD,
And teach out of Your law,
That You may give him rest from the days of adversity,
Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
For the LORD will not cast off His people,
Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
But judgment will return to righteousness,
And all the upright in heart will follow it.
– Psalm 94.12–15
While living on the earth we experience adversity, but when the Lord instructs you He is showing you the way of rest until He brings judgment upon the wicked. Therefore, do not resist His instruction, but listen to it and experience the fullest life possible.
Questions:
- What parts of the Lord’s teaching do you resist?
- How have His teachings helped you?
