New Testament: Eph 3.14
To read the Bible in a year, read Ephesians 3 on October 1, In the year of our Lord 2021
By Don Ruhl
Who is God the Father? Who is the Lord Jesus Christ? If you answer those questions with the awesomeness that the Scriptures show, then it makes sense to you to bow the knee before them, as Paul did:
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…
– Ephesians 3.14
Here Paul referred to prayer, as the rest of his sentence in the succeeding verses show, but in worship or prayer or whatever, we bow before Him when we know who the Father and the Son are.
Questions:
- When was the last time you bowed before the Father and the Son?
- Do you see Jesus as Lord of your life?
