Old Testament: Eze 16.27
To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 16 on November 17, In the year of our Lord 2021

Ouch! That is exactly what I thought when I read the passage I have selected for today, when the Lord said to Jerusalem,
“Behold, therefore, I stretched out My hand against you, diminished your allotment, and gave you up to the will of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior.”
– Ezekiel 16.27
The Lord stretched out His hand against Jerusalem, reduced their allotment, and finally gave the city over to the will of those who hated her. Who hated Jerusalem? The daughters of the Philistines hated Jerusalem and Israel, which you can see when you read the history of Israel in the Old Testament.
That all was bad enough, but then the Lord added that the Philistines, Jehovah-hating, idol-worshiping Philistines, were ashamed of the behavior of Jerusalem, showing that the city had lowered itself even beneath the Philistines.
Questions:
- Is your behavior worse than the behavior of the world?
- From what do you need to repent?
