Many believe that leaders in the church are judged by a higher standard. If that is true, please show me the higher standard. The standard is the same for all of us, but here is what James said about teachers, 

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

– James 3.1 

The Lord will be harder on teachers and other church leaders, if they lead people astray, but He uses the same standard as for all Christians.

• If not, why not?
