Jesus warned that something very horrible will happen to the person who causes a little child who believes in him to sin (Matthew 18.6). He said further: 

“Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!”

– Matthew 18.7 

Yes, offenses will happen. People will lead children away from Jesus. However, do everything you can to make sure that you are not one of those people! Do everything within your power to insure that children grow up in the Lord.
