Jesus did not avoid people, but when they needed him, he went with them. A ruler of a synagogue begged Jesus to lay his hand upon the ruler’s daughter, because she was terminally ill. Then Mark wrote this:
So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
– Mark 5.24
The Son of God went with a man whose daughter was about to die. Jesus cared for the man and for the girl. Therefore, he went to do as the man requested.
