To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 5.21–43 on February 24, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
Jesus did not avoid people, but when they needed him, he went with them. A ruler of a synagogue begged Jesus to lay his hand upon the ruler’s daughter, because she was terminally ill. Then Mark wrote this:
So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
– Mark 5.24
The Son of God went with a man whose daughter was about to die. Jesus cared for the man and for the girl. Therefore, he went to do as the man requested.
- What do you think of what Jesus did?
- Do you also help people who need you?
