Do we comprehend the value of a soul?

New Testament: Mark 8.37

To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 8 on March 1, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022

Do we comprehend the value of a soul, not only our own souls, but the souls of others? The best way for me to understand the value of a soul is by what Jesus asked:

“Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

– Mark 8.37

How do we answer that question? Is there something that I could give you in exchange for your soul? I am guessing that you would say that nothing exists that you would rather have than your own soul, because you value your soul more than anything else.

We should also see the souls of others in the same way.

Questions:

  • Can you put a price tag on your soul?
  • What value does Jesus put on your soul?
