New Testament: Luke 19.35–36
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 19.29–48 on April 24, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
When Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem, people were so excited that they did some interesting things:
Then they brought [the colt] to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road.
– Luke 19.35–36
Wow, that was really something. Some of the people gave their clothing as a makeshift saddle for Jesus, and others paved the road with their clothing for Him as He rode the colt into town!
Questions:
- How do you wish to honor Jesus?
- Have you given away clothing?
