Old Testament: Psa 31.23–24
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 31–33 on July 20, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
David declared that the Lord was his trust and so he poured out his requests before the Lord. When David saw how the Lord blessed him for seeking his help, David then had a message for us:
Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints!
For the LORD preserves the faithful,
And fully repays the proud person.
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the LORD.
– Psalm 31.23–24
Love the Lord because he preserves you. Therefore, be encouraged, knowing that he will strengthen you, but you have to put your hope in him.
Questions:
- Can you truly say that you hope in the Lord?
- How do you encourage others?
