Things you need to know

New Testament: Tts 3.1–2

To read the Bible in a year, read Titus 3 on November 2, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022

By Don Ruhl

Paul told Titus that as a preacher he was to remind the members of the church:

…to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

– Titus 3.1–2

As a preacher, I want to remind you of these things. Therefore, have a spirit of cooperation toward everyone around you.

Questions:

  • Why work against rulers and authorities?
  • What does it accomplish when we have an uncooperative spirit?
