John the apostle saw the Lord Jesus in His glorified state. The vision was so awesome and frightening that when John saw Jesus, John said: 

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.

– Revelation 1.17a 

What a sight it must have been to see Jesus as He is in heaven! The experience overwhelmed John and he fell as though dead, perhaps even dead.

• Do you dream of seeing Him in His glory?
