John saw a white horse and its rider come out of heaven. As John continued picturing for us the rider, we begin to think that it might be Jesus and finally we know for sure when John wrote: 

And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

– Revelation 19.16 

That made the identification easy. John saw Jesus of Nazareth coming out of heaven on His horse and He went out to fight His enemies, and He wins!
