What would happen if the creation killed its Creator because he had taken on a body? Surely, the earth would react strongly, and it did: 

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split…

– Matthew 27.51 

There was symbolic action in the tearing of the veil, but this passage also shows how all of natural creation reacted to the death of the Creator. 

Did the earth quake all over the planet and were the rocks split all over the planet? It is something to think about. 

The veil in the temple tore from top to bottom, showing that the way into the Holy of Holies, that is into heaven itself had been opened.
