Sometimes we believe that God has ignored us, or just seems not to know how our lives transpire, but the Scripture shows us that He does, and we also learn from experience to see this truth eventually,

“He does not preserve the life of the wicked,
But gives justice to the oppressed.
He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous;
But they are on the throne with kings,
For He has seated them forever,
And they are exalted.”
(Job 36.6–7)

The wicked exist for a while, because God waits for them to repent, but sooner or later He removes them. Then the oppressed and the righteous find God’s favor.

Questions:

  • Have you doubted God’s work in your life only to find out later that He did work?
  • What do you think of God’s involvement in your life now?
