12.23.2016 – New Testament: Rev 14.1
To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 14 on December 23, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
John saw many amazing things that he wrote down for us in the Book of Revelation, including this magnificent sight,
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads (Revelation 14.1).
First, to see the Lamb in His glory would be the sight of all sights! Then to see a certain number having the privilege to stand with Him would certainly arouse your expectations of seeing what He would do with those people.
Questions:
- Do you picture yourself with Jesus in Heaven?
- What do you think that experience will be like?
But, of course, I’ll be right beside him. Did you notice the 2 sets of 144,000 and the differences between them? Holy Spirit showed me something again. 🙂
