By Don Ruhl

Jesus healed ten lepers, and one of them happened to be a Samaritan, implying that the others were Jews, people who claimed to know God. After Jesus healed them, note what happened,

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan (Luke 17.15–16).

If you have a dreaded disease, or an incurable one that will one day lead to your death, you know of the joy that filled this man’s heart. When you have a major health problem, it runs your life. Then to have freedom from that suddenly would make you glorify God.

  • Do you glorify God for the good things in your life?
  • Do you glorify God for the bad things in your life?
