We are not greater than Jesus Christ

If Jesus could do something, how can we think that it is beneath us to do it? After He had washed the feet of His disciples, He taught them, saying,

“Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him” (John 13.16).

He the Master washed feet. We are but servants. We can wash feet. Therefore, do something humble that may not be expected of you.

Questions:

  • Are you ready to do humble works for the Lord and for people?
  • When was the last time you did something humble?
