06.08.2017 New Testament: John 17.12
To read the Bible in a year, read John 17 on June 8, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Jesus prayed with a good conscience and full of honesty as He reported to the Father of the work that He did,
“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled” (John 17.12).
Jesus did what the Father wanted Him to do with the apostles, and then they went out and did what Jesus wanted them to do, and the world has never been the same since.
- Do you regard the words of the apostles as equal with the words of Jesus?
- Are you keeping the words of Scripture?
