To read the Bible in a year, read Second Chronicles 29–31 on June 9, In the year of our Lord 2017

King Hezekiah had great zeal for the Lord, which moved the king to restore the temple worship of Jehovah God. This also moved him to do so early in the morning,
Then King Hezekiah rose early, gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD (2 Chronicles 29.20).
This reminds us of Jesus rising early in the morning to pray. There is something about worshiping God or praying to Him first thing in the morning, that helps us tackle the day. How can you go wrong when you worship and serve your Creator?
Morning is not the only time we can do those things, but they certainly are beneficial in the morning. However, I say those things, because I am a morning person.
- When is the best time of day for you?
- Do you make a daily habit of praising the Lord?
