06.27.2017 Old Testament: Job 11.7–9
To read the Bible in a year, read Job 10–12 on June 27, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Job’s friends said somethings in error, but they also spoke some truth, as you no doubt will see in the following quote from Zophar,
“Can you search out the deep things of God?
Can you find out the limits of the Almighty?
They are higher than heaven— what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol— what can you know?
Their measure is longer than the earth
And broader than the sea.”
(Job 11.7–9)
How do you answer those questions? If you answer, no, no, nothing, and nothing to those questions, then do you have any right to become angry with God?
Questions:
- What can we know about God?
- How does your knowledge of Him affect you?
