The people we miss when they die, are people like Dorcas, who lived to benefit others. Are you like this woman?
At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did (Acts 9.36).
However, the brethren heard that Peter was close by and they sent for him, asking him to come. Then Peter raised her from the dead.
Questions:
- What will your church think when you are no longer with them?
- Are you full of good works?
