By Jesus we find forgiveness

Acts Bible Background

07.06.2017 – New Testament: Acts 13.38–39

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 13.24–52 on July 6, In the year of our Lord 2017

Paul reminded his Jewish audience of one of the great truths delivered to us from heaven. He declared,

“Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses” (Acts 13.38–39).

Sin, with its guilt and its consequences, ruins our lives, but with the forgiveness of Jesus, we can escape trouble from God. We may still suffer in this life, but God will be with us.

Questions:

  • Have you had your sins forgiven?
  • Have you been baptized?
