08.13.2017 – New Testament: Rom 12.16
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 12 on August 13, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
The faith is not about how I think versus how my brethren think, but it is abandoning self and taking on the thinking of the Lord, and He shows us how to do it,
Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion (Romans 12.16).
We have the same mind toward one another by not setting our minds on high things, but by associating with the humble, and ceasing to be wise in our own opinions.
Questions:
- Have you changed the way you look at others since becoming a Christian?
- What do you still need to change in your thinking?
I have another question. Why is it hard for most Christians to change their hearts when looking at other Christians? That’s one reason they are not of the same mind toward one another….That old heart.
BTW, Hi old brother friend.

Well, young sister friend, changing one’s heart has to be one of the more difficult things we have to do in this life, not because it is difficult, but because we are stubborn.
