10.09.2017 – New Testament: Col 1.21–22
To read the Bible in a year, read Colossians 1 on October 9, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Paul wrote something to the church at Colossae that we should never forget: The price Jesus paid that we might be holy,
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight… (Colossians 1.21–22).
We had separated ourselves from God in our minds by the way we lived. However, Jesus brought us to God by offering His body through death to God. Jesus made such an offering that we might be holy, blameless, and above reproach in the sight of God.
- How often do you think of Jesus dying for you?
- Are you holy?
