Paul needed a lawyer and a speaker

Titus Bible Background

11.02.2017 – New Testament: Tts 3.13

To read the Bible in a year, read Titus 3 on November 2, In the year of our Lord 2017

By Don Ruhl

As Paul ended his letter to Titus, Paul mentioned several people, including two whom he wanted Titus to send,

Send Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey with haste, that they may lack nothing (Titus 3.13).

We do not know the details, but they must have stopped on the Island of Crete, and Paul needed them, which meant that he wanted Titus to supply them with what they needed and then they could join him. There is not much said about these men, but they were involved in the Lord’s work and the Lord noted it for us, showing that He knows everyone who works for Him.

  • In what way do you work for the Lord?
  • Do you believe that the Lord knows everything that you do?
