12.07.2017 – New Testament: 2Jo 1–2
To read the Bible in a year, read Second John on December 7, In the year of our Lord 2017

Some people claim they are friends of the Bible, but they also claim that you cannot know the truth and that you cannot know that you know the truth. John had a different impression,
To the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever… (2 John 1–2).
The elect lady, the church, and her children, the individual members of the church, had known the truth and John said that the truth would be with her and all of us forever. It is time we started talking like John. Truth exists. You can know the truth. You can know that you know the truth.
- Do you know the truth?
- What does knowing the truth do to you?
- Are you arrogant about it and put down others who disagree with you or does it humble you?
