12.19.2017 – New Testament: Rev 10.7
To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 10 on December 19, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
John saw a mighty angel who swore by God that there should be no more delay concerning the things, or at least some of the things we see in the Book of Revelation. Then John wrote,
…but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets (Revelation 10.7).
Ephesians 3 speaks of the mystery of God that He would include the Gentiles in His plan, but the prophets spoke of this truth all along, although it seems that most people missed it, until the New Testament revealed the truth about God’s inclusion of the Gentiles.
In Jesus this mystery finds its fulfillment, for the Lord had first promised Abraham that in him, the Lord would bless all the families of the earth and we now have that in Jesus, the fulfillment of the Lord’s promise.
- Are you willingly to accept people from any nation who seek the Lord?
- Are you a Jew in the flesh?
