Regardless of who hates you, endure to the end

Matthew Bible Background

01.12.2018 – New Testament: Matt 10.21–22

To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 10.1–23 on January 12, In the year of our Lord 2018

By Don Ruhl

When people you love reject you because you live by faith in Jesus Christ, it hurts and you may be tempted to cut back on your faith, but do not do it,

“Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 10.21–22).

Satan does not hesitate to use anyone against us, even our family. However, do not give up, but endure to the end, for then you will find salvation.

Questions:

  • Have loved ones given you a hard time about being a Christian?
  • What have you done about it?
