Which part do you have in building the church? Some lay the foundation and others build upon that foundation. Paul did the former:

And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation… (Romans 15.20).

Paul was an apostle, so it was right for him to so work, but once a church has been established, someone needs to keep it going. That is where someone like myself comes in. We can all do something in the church.

Questions:

  • What do you do for your home congregation?
  • Is there anything else in the church that you like to do?
